Juventus will make a fortune by selling Paulo Dybala

Football fans who never thought a player would break the £100 million transfer barrier are set to be shocked this summer. Expect Juventus forward Paulo Dybala to be the man who breaks the massive transfer record.

The only real question is which club is going to shell out the cash to acquire him. Despite reports that claim Dybala is set to snub suitors by signing a new contract with Juventus, I firmly believe he’ll be sold this summer. Juventus simply can’t afford not to part with him given the astronomical offers they are going to receive.

Dybala will manage to top the £100 million mark because he’s the right player at the right time. Remember, the current record of £89 million was set when Manchester United purchased Paul Pogba last summer. Making the leap of just £11 million pounds in one season isn’t all that spectacular.

Of course, to become the world’s most expensive transfer, you have to be really talented. Dybala certainly is. He’s been The Old Lady’s best player this season and has absolutely lit Serie A afire. It’s easy to see why the richest clubs in Europe would be interested in his services.

The other thing you need to break the transfer record is interest from the richest clubs. Dybala has that covered as well. Both Real Madrid and Manchester United are heavily linked with interest in the young forward. They also happen to be among the richest clubs in the world.

Perhaps not coincidentally, officials at both clubs also possess some of the game’s largest egos. Neither will want to see the other outbid them for Dybala this summer. That bidding war is going to push his transfer fee to new heights.

Can you really imagine a world in which Real Madrid passes on Dybala due to price? They’ve clearly made him their top transfer priority over the past six months. Los Blancos are never afraid to flex their financial muscle to sign their ideal attacker.

Manchester United, on the other hand, have just been anointed the richest club in the world. Jose Mourinho will be beating the drum for new attacking players all summer. He’ll browbeat Ed Woodward and others at the club into matching Real Madrid’s bid to the penny.

Paulo Dybala might not be worth £100 million pounds in the eyes of a lot of football fans, but that’s going to be his value this summer. He’ll forever be remembered as the player who broke the £100 million barrier. The only question is which club will stroke the check.
