Los Blancos are eliminated from Copa del Rey by Celta Vigo, ending their goal of winning the treble this season.

Real Madrid’s dream of winning the treble has been put to a stop by Celta Vigo, as the Galician club edged out a 4-3 aggregate win to send Los Blancos crashing out of Copa del Rey.

Celta defeated Madrid in the first leg of the tie in Santiago Bernabeu, and did just enough in Balaidos to hang on.

Although Cristiano Ronaldo scored a stunning free kick and Lucas Vasquez headed in a late equalizer, Danilo’s own goal and Daniel Wass’ strike have put Celta Vigo in the semi finals of the tournament.
