3. Josh Onomah

Last season, many Spurs fans believed that Onomah would be the next breakout star under Pochettino’s reign. Unfortunately, he’s had a largely anonymous campaign to date.

The FA Cup would be the perfect place for Onomah to kick-start his season. It’s probably too late for him to insert himself into the Premier League squad discussion, but he needs to build some sort of momentum.

Frankly, if he doesn’t show some real signs before the end of the season, he may need a loan to re-establish value next year. That isn’t Pochettino’s favored way of doing things, but there won’t be room for Onomah with the senior squad.

Fortunately, there’s still an opportunity for the talented Englishman to save his season. A strong showing today would go a long way towards reminding Pochettino why he was so high on the versatile midfielder last season.
