In what was an exciting game of Friday night Football during the 5thweek of the 2016-2017 Premier League, Liverpool demonstrated that they are—or were—finally ready to challenge for the sought-after Premier League trophy.

Flash forward 18 matches later; these two teams will once again go head-to-head, with Liverpool attempting to close the eight point gap between them. However, this task will be hard to accomplish, as many teams have now discovered.
