Jose Mourinho has got Manchester United competing for titles once again, and here I take a look at why the Special One is still the best manager in England.

Mourinho arrived at United six months after he was sacked by Chelsea in the midst of their worst season in ages. The Portuguese manager came to Old Trafford with a point to prove and to show the world that he still is the Special One.

United were also reeling after failing to qualify for the UEFA Champions League for the second time in three years. So it was a match made in heaven. Two fallen giants who needed each other to get back to where they belong.

Fast forward to six months later, it’s been a topsy-turvy season for United to say the least. They are sixth in the Premier League, but have also made it to the final of the EFL Cup. They are the only team in England to still be involved in four competitions.

United have been playing some of their best football since Sir Alex Ferguson departed and are once again showing signs of becoming the dominant force they were under the legendary Scot. While there is still room for improvement, United fans have reasons to be very excited for what’s to come. And here are the five reasons why Jose Mourinho is still the best manager in England.
