5. Manchester United are playing beautiful football once again

The past three years have been miserable for United. Since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement, they have had to watch David Moyes play with no apparent tactics, and then Louis van Gaal play slow, boring, sideways football.

Now under Jose Mourinho they are seeing the team play the beautiful attacking football they have craved for. Manchester United have dominated almost every game they have played this season. And while they have had to deal with poor refereeing which has cost them in multiple games this season, the signs are there that Manchester United are back to their best.

In Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Juan Mata, United have some of the most talented play-makers in the world. They have been creating chances, and while finishing them has been a problem for the red devils, there are great signs of optimism. United have lost just once in their last 19 matches in all competitions. And they remain the only English team still competing in four competitions.

Manchester United are playing with real swagger, and leaving teams with no choice but to shut up shop and hope for the best.
