When Arsene Wenger’s time with Arsenal FC is up, his resume will be a full one.
To date, he helped the Gunners haul in three Premier League titles, six FA Cup trophies, six Community Shields, and countless appearances in the Champions League. However, the Frenchman has been ridiculed and ridden in recent years despite delivering the club’s last trophy just two years ago, and many continue to call for his dismissal – voluntarily or involuntarily – before the club sinks further into a what is perceived as a lack of success moving forward.
There are a few names Arsenal fans have been clamoring for in the last four or so years, with personalities like Piers Morgan obsessing over now-Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, for example. However, with Klopp tied up in Merseyside and Guardiola guiding the ship at Manchester City, two of the most popular possible replacements are no longer an option.
