Manchester City: Key positions to reassess this summer

This summer Leroy Sane joined Manchester City and has provided City with some much-needed youth. The way Sane, Sterling and Gabriel Jesus have linked up over the past few games, proves they could be a dominating trio in time.
As Sane adjusted to the physicality of the Premier League, Jesus Navas started to fade from the lineup. Now, Navas is confined to a late substitution if he sees the field and will be surplus in the coming window. To replace Navas, Manchester City could promote the young Ukrainian Zinchenko, or look to spend big.
One of the best players currently on the wing is located in Germany, a lad by the name of Marco Reus. Guardiola will be familiar with the quality of Reus from his days at Munich, but Reus seems to be a much sought after target with Liverpool, Arsenal and United all interested in his signature. James Rodriquez is another player of the top-quality that would be better served on the flanks of this Manchester City squad. While Reus and Rodriquez will not leave their current squads to sit on the bench, bringing in players of their caliber could provide incentive and rest for both Sane and Sterling.

It really comes down to the price tag attached to both these players and what Guardiola plans to do to bolster his aging squad. Guardiola will attract some of the top-players in the world this summer, so long as he remains in contention for European football.
