Upcoming fixtures

Late in the Premier League season, points are at a premium. This is true no matter where a club lies in the table. But looking ahead at Leicester City’s fixtures, the Foxes should be able to find the point total necessary to stay in the top flight.

Difficult matches still remain against the likes of Arsenal and Tottenham, but there are encounters that should bring Claudio Ranieri’s side three points.

Sunderland, Crystal Palace, Hull City and Sunday’s trip to South Wales against Swansea City should all result in a victory. Leicester defeated the Swans at the King Power Stadium 2-1 in late August.

Ranieri knew what his players needed to hear last season as they soared to the Premier League title, and he knows what they will need to hear now to remain there.

Focus and preparations for their final 14 matches will be crucial as Leicester City look to ensure their place in the English first division for the 2017-18 campaign.
