Five early summer transfer targets for Manchester United

Alexandre Lacazette – Lyon
Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette has been the subject of many Premier League transfer rumours over the past few years, and it could be Manchester United that finally bring his sensational talent to England.
Arsenal and manager Arsene Wenger tried to persuade the 25-year old to leave Ligue 1 last summer, but it seems the timing is finally right for the striker to move on from Lyon.
Possessing a stunning combination of pace and skill on the ball, Lacazette’s scoring abilities would bring an added dimension to the United attack. He has scored more than 20 goals across all competitions in each of the last four seasons, which includes the current campaign where he already has tallied 22.
Mourinho would be able to deploy the French international in a variety of ways as well, depending on match situations and particular opposition. Lacazette has the ability to play as the lone forward, pair with another striker and can even be pushed out wide to accommodate a 4-3-3 formation.
With the player ready for a change of scenery and Manchester United looking to bolster the top of their line-up, Alexandre Lacazette’s addition to the Red Devils would be a major positive.
