Harry Winks-7.5

I’m slowly coming around to the belief that Winks could be a starter for Spurs next season. He isn’t as talented as Mousa Dembele or Victor Wanyama, but he gives Pochettino something that no other midfielder does. Against Fulham, he showed the skill to move the ball quickly and that’s exactly what this squad needs.

Let’s not anoint him as the next Luka Modric yet. He’s still got a lot of growing to do. Winks needs to add more quality in the final third to really become a Premier League regular. His solid showing against Fulham was another quality step forward in his development.

Victor Wanyama-7.5

Tottenham’s Kenyan destroyer made quick work of the Fulham midfield all afternoon long. He isn’t a dynamic player moving forward, but that’s not his job either. Wanyama bossed the Fulham midfield and allowed the club’s attack to really enjoy lengthy spells of possession.

Again, Dembele is a more talented player that Wanyama on the whole, but the Kenyan may be a better fit with the personnel around him. He gives Pochettino a tricky selection conundrum moving forward.
