Christian Eriksen-8

This was the toughest evaluation of the day for me. On one hand, how do you criticize an attacking midfielder with two assists? On the other, he still frustrates me with his waste on the ball.

The Danish midfielder could have easily had a prolific afternoon. He blasted several quality chances into the 10th row at Craven Cottage. If his finishing had been more pinpoint, this would have been a laugher.

We have to give him credit for his solid service to Kane though. He put some great balls into the box that allowed Kane to use his finishing skills. Eriksen continues to frustrate, but this was one of his better performances as of late.

Son Heung-Min-6

Regular readers know I’m not a huge Son fan. While I didn’t think he was very good today, I will credit him with solid effort. He just couldn’t make anything happen today.

On some level, that’s my concern with Son though. Even when he’s fully engaged he can’t always imprint his style on the match. A player of his supposed quality shouldn’t struggle against a Championship squad when Tottenham have so many chances. It’s fair to question why he wasn’t more involved on the afternoon.

Dele Alli-7.5

Dele only ended the afternoon with one assist, but he was very influential on the match. He continues to grow into his role as the club’s unquestioned number ten.

Some would call his effort against Fulham somewhat wasteful, but I’d disagree. He spent the entire afternoon taking risks to create scoring chances for others. That means he’s going to give the ball away sometimes.

Fans need to focus on all of the attention he garners from the opposing defense. When he’s a big part of the Spurs attack, it means significant space for his teammates.
