Here’s a quick look at the players with the most assists in the best five leagues in Europe. As everyone loves a good assist right?

As a former midfielder myself I’ve always been more thrilled about getting assists rather than scoring goals. Granted I never scored many goals. As I’m now retired from playing, I relive my glory days by watching players make assists now from the comfort of my worn down couch. So I’ve decided to take a quick look at the top assist makers in Europe.

I’ll post the number of assists they’ve made and a quick explanation of who the player is etc but I’m sure most of you will be aware of who they are. I’ll also find an awesome video of each player making a crisp through-ball or an amazing cross adding to their tally. Or just a video of their highlights depending on what youtube has.

Starting off with the English Premier League, here we go.
