Isco – Real Madrid
Attacking midfielders can certainly thrive within Antonio Conte’s tactical approach, and a tremendous addition would be Real Madrid’s Isco. The Spanish international has played well during the current campaign, but is having trouble gaining minutes on the pitch under manager Zinedine Zidane.
Isco has scored five goals and added five assists in La Liga this season. At only 24 years of age, an arrival at Chelsea could see even greater production in the future for both player and club.
A product of Valencia’ academy, Isco transferred to Malaga in the summer of 2011. After incredible performances and the club’s first-ever appearance in the UEFA Champions League, the youngster made the big move to the Santiago Bernabeu and Real Madrid two years later.
Within a talented and star-studded squad, playing time can be difficult to come by with Los Blancos. Able to play as a midfielder, winger or striker, Isco’s versatility and skill on the ball would be able to shine brightly at Chelsea.
There would be competition for his services, but Chelsea could bring in yet another attacking weapon with Isco this summer.
