3. Wilfried Zaha

I really don’t understand why so many Tottenham fans are down on the prospect of signing Wilfried Zaha. To me, it’s pretty obvious that the Crystal Palace star would give Spurs a much-needed boost out on the wing.

Zaha may not be a world-class star, but he’s proven he can do a job in the Premier League. He would give Pochettino the wide player that he’s searched for during his entire time with Tottenham. The reality is that he’s everything the club hoped Moussa Sissoko would be.

Just ask Crystal Palace fans where their season would be if Zaha wasn’t on their squad. They are locked in a desperate relegation battle as it is, but without his services they would have lost contact with 17th place in the league table.

Tottenham fans might want to hope Palace goes down to see a deal for Zaha become much cheaper and much easier. Like Victor Wanyama last season, his signing may not electrify the fan base, but he’d be a key piece of the squad moving forward.
