A review of the players Arsenal will focus on in the coming months.

It has not been a positive stretch for Arsenal during the past week, as two consecutive losses have brought negative impacts across several aspects for the club. A 3-1 loss at Liverpool dropped the Gunners out of the top four in the Premier League and a humiliating elimination from the UEFA Champions League at the hands of Bayern Munich featured an emphatic 10-2 aggregate final.

Still with much work to do in the FA Cup and in the English top flight, manager Arsene Wenger must focus on positive results as cries from supporters for his exit become louder. Qualification for next season’s Champions League again becomes a top priority.

The coming summer could bring many changes within the squad itself, as rumours of Alexis Sanchez’s departure appear to be gaining traction.

Arsenal have reportedly blocked any such move to another Premier League side, as Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain become early favourites.

The past summer window saw the signings of talent such as Granit Xhaka, Lucas Perez and Shkodran Mustafi. Arsenal will want to ensure that the upcoming period sees the addition of players who can help bring strong play and success in various competitions.
