Mourinho went from the special one to the ordinary one last season at Chelsea

There is no disputing the fact that the “special one” has had a lot of success. He has managed some of the best teams in Europe and won numerous trophies.

He has, however, also had some less than stellar spells.

When he left Chelsea last season most fans supported him and thought that the club had made a big mistake. We’ll never know if Mourinho would have been able to turn things around, but the truth is he was not getting the best out of his players when fired.

He is doing an admirable job with Manchester United, but he is now realizing that winning is not always that easy. That could be the reason that his sarcastic barbs at other managers have become less frequent.
