9. Marko Arnautovic – Stoke
One of the reason’s why the Premier League is so hard to win is that there are incredible players like Arnautovic hanging around in middle table teams like Stoke. He would be playing for a top 5 side in other league in Europe but instead he is plows on under appreciated in the English Midlands.
The Austrian is in his fourth year in Premier League and has grown his reputation season on season. For most of his time in England the Potters have employed him as a compliment to Peter Crouch. Buzzing round the tall Englishman and to give the frontline a nice balance with creativity and work ethic.
He has shone brightest when he has lined up with star midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri in the side. The creative onus falls upon his Swiss teammate allowing him to reap the rewards of the through balls and cute passes.
He has everything you want in a center forward; pace; strength; honed technique; clinical finishing. Stoke use him in a similar role to Eden Hazard at Chelsea but he is a more natural center forward than the Belgian. Despite not being given the lone striker role he still finds himself on the scoresheet with remarkable regularity.
