A look at why the Blues will celebrating at Wembley.

The 2016-17 campaign has seen an incredible return to the top of the Premier League for Chelsea, as manager Antonio Conte has helped to guide the Blues back to the top of the division. The club’s strong play has carried over to other competitions as well, as a 1-0 victory over Manchester United this week advanced the squad to the FA Cup semi-final round.

Chelsea’s sparkling domestic form has them in an excellent position to recapture a title in the top flight, while a trip to Wembley Stadium could bring their first FA Cup since 2012. Conte’s side appear up to the task, unbeaten in their last 11 matches across all competitions and set to face Tottenham in order to reach the tournament’s final.

The reversal of fortunes after last season’s disastrous finish is nothing short of remarkable, and owner Roman Abramovich would love nothing more than to see his club earn the double in the current term.

A talented Spurs squad stands in their way, as well as a massive potential final match against either Arsenal or Manchester City.

We examine why Chelsea are the favourites to win this season’s FA Cup.
