Conte’s management

After struggling for so much of the 2015-16 season and with many of the same players in the line-up during the current campaign, there is an immense amount of credit due to manager Antonio Conte. The Italian tactician has him team primed for success, in both the Premier League and in the FA Cup.

Ten points clear at the top of the league table with 11 fixtures remaining, Conte has managed to keep his side focused on winning the FA Cup with intelligent preparations and smart roster rotation.

Dominant victories over Brentford and Wolverhampton Wanderers prior to their quarter-final triumph against Manchester United demonstrate his ability to keep the squad concentrating on each and every encounter.

A catalyst to the Blues’ form was Conte’s switch to a 3-4-3 formation, with the approach seeing tremendous benefits both in results and in individual form. Eden Hazard, Diego Costa and Victor Moses have played well within the philosophy and it has brought out the best in others as well.

With Antonio Conte leading the charge, Chelsea should feel confident in their chances of lifting the FA Cup later this year.
