Quality front-line

Thanks to the team’s efforts behind them, Chelsea’s attack has been a bright spot throughout their current season. The Blues have scored 57 Premier League goals in 27 matches, while only conceding 20.

The front-line of Eden Hazard, Diego Costa and Pedro Rodriguez have often been overwhelming for the opposition. With players like Willian and Michy Batshuayi providing depth in the line-up, Antonio Conte knows that his side are able to pressure the defence and score goals in bunches.

After difficulties under Jose Mourinho last year, Hazard has appeared rejuvenated playing for Conte this season. The Belgian international has scored 11 goals and added four assists in league play thus far.

Costa has been one of the most consistent goalscorers in the English top flight this campaign, constantly causing issues for opposing defences with his positioning. With Pedro and Hazard able to open up play on the wings, the 28-year-old striker has scored 17 Premier League goals.

Tottenham will have the uneasy task of stopping Chelsea’s attack in the semi-final round, with either Arsenal or Manchester City hoping to end the Blues’ cup run in the final.
