The next Thierry Henry?

Just like his compatriot Tiemoue Bakayoko, Kylian Mbappe, has Europe’s top teams enquiring about his services after breaking this season.

Two seasons ago, former Monaco stand out Anthony Martial was sold to Manchester United for a staggering £60 million (including add-ons). Martial hasn’t necessarily lived up to the billing as he and Jose Mourinho relationship has been under strain.

When Monaco started the 2016-17 campaign, no one knew who Mbappe was or what he was capable of. The 18-year-old was just another prospects looking to get first-team minutes, now he’s on his way to becoming the next superstar. Oh yeah, he models his game after Arsenal legend Thierry Henry, and what team did Henry commence his illustrious career with? You guessed it, Monaco.

It has been reported that Monaco are holding out for £129 million fee, after the club rebuffed United’s £69 million bid for the teen sensational.
