The Egyptian international is enjoying his football again

The Egyptian international signed a permanent deal with AS Roma last summer for £13 million from Chelsea. If you ask me, Roma pulled a robbery because Mohammed Salah’s breakaway speed alone is worth  £20 million.

While the influential winger was carrying Egypt to the Africa Cup of Nations final, Luciano Olimpico’s side struggled as they lacked the breakaway speed he so often torments Serie A defences with and had to reconfigure as a result.

The young Pharaoh’s performance this season has guided Roma in second place with 65 points, eight points behind Juventus with nine games remaining. Salah has scored 12 goals and assisted eight.
