A new challenge

Neymar has achieved tremendous success for Barcelona, now in his fourth season at the Camp Nou. The 25-year-old has captured two La Liga titles, two Copa del Rey crowns, one FIFA Club World Cup and lifted the UEFA Champions League trophy in 2015.

Despite this amazing period of dominance, the Brazilian may find himself ready for a new challenge in his playing career. Insert Manchester United and the English Premier League.

The Spanish first division is a different beast than that of the Premier League, as players are often given a bit more time and space on the ball. The frenetic pace and physicality of the English top flight makes for a much different atmosphere, and one that Neymar is certainly intrigued by.

Barcelona’s global appeal and popularity are not to be underestimated or underrated, but Manchester United will allow Neymar to still be a global force. The days of Sir Alex Ferguson set the bar high at Old Trafford, but Neymar may be anxious to be a part of the squad that brings the success of those days back along with Jose Mourinho.
