Chelsea 2015-2016

Chelsea has had a lot of success since Roman Abramovich purchased the club in 2003. They have won three Premier League titles as well as the Champions League in 2011-2012. The club is currently seventh on the Forbes list of richest clubs.

While Leicester were shocking the world last year, Chelsea was causing a surprise at the other end of the table. The club suffered through a miserable campaign and finished tenth. They therefore did not qualify for any European football.

Perhaps motivated by this disappointment, Chelsea have been playing superb football this season. Antonio Conte has breathed new life in to the club and the Blues have been atop the EPL table since week 12.

Barring a monumental collapse, Chelsea will be playing Champions League football next year. The one year absence from Europe has obviously had no long-term effect on the London side.

Arsenal should look at Chelsea’s example of how to turn a negative in to a positive.
