Liverpool

Liverpool come in at number eight on the Forbes rich list. Despite this ranking, the Reds have only finished inside the top four one time over the past six seasons. In other words, the club has participated in Champions League play just once since 2010.

Arsenal fans should take heart seeing this fact. Liverpool Football Club has not fallen apart during this period. Rather the team continues to thrive financially and remain one of the biggest in the world.

Liverpool has not lost its ability to attract top talent. Former Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp was in high demand and chose to sign on as Liverpool manager in the summer of 2015. Then there’s striker Philippe Coutinho who joined the club from Inter in January 2013.

The Reds are currently in fourth position and hope to qualify for Champions League play next season.
