Centre forward: Didier Drogba- 2004-2012

Well this one isn’t really much of a surprise is it. He’s the clubs fourth highest ever goal scorer after scoring 204 goals in all competitions.

Drogba joined Chelsea in 2004 for a club record £24m from Marseille and the goals soon came. His debut season saw him help the club win their first Premier League title in 50 years as Chelsea ran rampant under Jose Mourinho.

He scored some special goals for the club. Wait, let me correct that, he scored a lot of special goals for the club. Including the 88th minute equalisng header against Bayern Munich in the Champions League final before he went on to score the winning penalty to win the Chelsea FC their first ever Champions League in 2012.

I also remember a stunning half volley he scored against Liverpool to win the game.

Another special memory includes a stunning strike from about 40 yards to win the game late in the second half. against Everton.

He truly was phenomenal .

Drogba spent eight seasons at Chelsea before heading off to Turkey and China but he came back in 2014/15 just to win the Premier League trophy one more time.

He struggled a little bit in his first two seasons at Chelsea despite winning two Premier League trophies. He scored 10 goals in his debut season and 12 in the next however this was largely due to competition from Gudjohnsen and Crespo (in the 05 season).

However his third season saw him score 20 league goals (33 in all competitions) winning the golden boot in the process.

Drogba will always be remembered for the big games, with a goal-scoring record at club level of 10 goals in 10 finals winning 10 trophies

In the 2009/10 season Drogba scored 29 league goals winning him the golden boot a second time along with the Premier League title.
