Chelsea FC: 5 reasons Blues will beat Manchester City

5. Home advantage: Stamford Bridge

Chelsea are at home against City and while it’s not a huge factor, it’s an advantage given their home record and the support they will receive.

While Chelsea’s home record isn’t much different from their away results it’s still a deciding factor.

Chelsea have won 12 matches at home and lost only two matches. While they have won 10 matches, drawn three and lost two away from Stamford Bridge.

But their goal scoring record at home is an interesting factor. Chelsea have scored 37 goals at home while conceding only 10 goals. They have scored only 23 goals away, a 14 goal difference.

Chelsea seem to score more goals at home and this could be a factor against City as they will look to score more than City with City’s woeful defensive record.
