5. His teammates

Hazard is friends with the majority of the Chelsea squad players including his good mate and Belgian teammate Michy Batshuayi.

Hazard is good friends with the Belgian striker and even though Batshuayi has struggled for game time this season, he still appears to be one of Hazard’s best teammates.

Hazard will not want to leave whilst being good mates with Michy and I know it seems like a lame reason, but a player’s happiness is paramount as to whether they stay at a club or not. Having good friends like Michy around would keep Hazard happy to continue at Chelsea FC.

Hazard is often seen in Chelsea FC training ground videos mucking around and laughing with his teammates, especially Michy. But he’s also good friends with Willian too.

Why would Hazard leave a Premier League title-winning team along with his good friends and teammates where he is happy to go to Real Madrid?

The saying “don’t fix what ain’t broken” applies here. Hazard has literally no reason to join Real Madrid apart from the prestige. But Chelsea will be competing for the Champions League next season. With one or two additions to the squad there’s no reason why Chelsea wouldn’t be considered a world-class prestigious club.

Hazard will stay and continue the banter with his Chelsea teammates.
