Eden Hazard

Striker Eden Hazard is an in demand player. Rumors have recently been swirling that the striker is a target for Real Madrid this summer.

Back in 2014, Hazard was at the end of a Mourinho tirade. It came after Chelsea was eliminated by Atletico Madrid in the semi-finals of the Champions League.

The manager was critical of the player for not tracking back and allowing Atletico to score.

Mourinho then took exception to a post match interview with Hazard which he interpreted as critical of his managerial tactics.

Mourinho told The Guardian,

"Eden is the kind of player that is not so mentally ready to look back to his left-back and to leave his life for him. When the comments come from a player like Eden it’s normal because he’s not the kind of player to sacrifice himself for the team. Normally you get these kind of comments from players like him, from players that can’t resolve a problem like we had in the first goal."

As we all know now, Mourinho was fired by Roman Abramovich in December 2015 with Chelsea sitting 16th in the table.
