The names of a number of statistical leaders in the Premier League may surprise you. A few lesser known players have been racking up some impressive numbers

The Premier League is loaded with super stars. Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Thibaut Courtois and Kevin De Bruyne are just some of the skillful players admired by football fans.

There are just six weeks remaining in the EPL season. In many instances the current statistical leaders are not unexpected. Ibrahimovic has the most shots on goal (46). Chelsea keeper Courtois has kept the most clean sheets (13). De Bruyne is among the league’s leaders in assists (11).

Take a deeper look at other individual statistics and there are some names that may surprise fans. Most of them are not usually included when speaking of the league’s best.

Here’s a look at five current statistical leaders that are putting up impressive numbers while flying under the radar.
