Tom Heaton – 120 saves

Burnley are trying to accomplish something the club has not done since the mid 70’s. The Clarets are attempting to remain in England’s top flight for a second straight year.

Sean Dyche’s side are close to achieving this goal. One of the major reasons is captain Tom Heaton. The former Manchester United reserve goalkeeper leads the league with 120 saves. He also has nine clean sheets.

Heaton has been a rock in net and has helped out his defenders tremendously.

Burnley have six matches remaining and are presently eight points above the relegation zone. The team’s survival owes a lot to Heaton and his goalkeeping abilities.
