Idrissa Gueye – 121 tackles

Everton’s Idrissa Gueye has been having a tremendous season. The midfielder leads the league with 121 tackles. He is also among the EPL’s leaders for interceptions. Gueye was the first player in Europe’s top five leagues to rack up 100 tackles this season.

He has been compared by many to the more highly recognized Chelsea star N’Golo Kante.

Ronald Koeman brought Gueye to Goodison Park last summer for £7.1m from relegated side Aston Villa. He has flourished for the Toffees.

Not surprisingly the Senegalese player is being watched by a number of teams. Current rumors link Gueye with a summer transfer to Arsenal, Manchester United or Chelsea.
