Son Heung-Min-7.5

Some might find this rating a little bit harsh considering Son’s first half goal. While I thought the Korean attacker was bright on the afternoon, I do have to downgrade his performance for being a bit wasteful in the final third.

Son got plenty of time on the ball out on the left wing. I would have liked to see him accomplish a bit more with it. In fairness to him, overlapping with Ben Davies isn’t the easiest thing, but he didn’t help the Welshman. At the very least, I expect Son to get to the byline and blast some dangerous crosses into the box. He failed to do that today. It was a good, but not great performance from the Korean star.

Dele Alli-6.5

As I mentioned in the open, it wasn’t Dele’s best game in a Tottenham shirt. He played with good energy and intent, but never really did anything of substance in the match.

In all honesty, Dele was pretty anonymous for long stretches of time. That is very unusual for a player of his calibre and style. Perhaps he knew he didn’t really need to put in a command performance today. Perhaps Bournemouth paid too much attention to him, and not enough to his teammates. No matter what, it wasn’t a banner day for Dele.
