Chelsea FC news: Manager Antonio Conte is reportedly eager to sign the young Belgian and has sent scouts to watch him.
Chelsea FC news: Manager Antonio Conte is ready to splash the cash on 19-year-old Anderlecht captain Youri Tielemans as soon as the transfer window opens.
A host of top clubs including Manchester United, Monaco, PSG and now Chelsea are in the race to sign him.
Tielemans captained Anderlecht against Manchester United in the Europa League recently and various reports state that Chelsea scouts were at the game watching him.
Chelsea are ready to table an offer of £25m to land the central midfielder according to the Sunday Express.

Tielemans has drawn praise for his ability to control games from the midfield and his passing range. He also has a frightening long shot which has beaten many goalkeepers. His long-range shooting in fact is exactly what Chelsea need next season.
Chelsea have lacked a goal scoring central midfielder ever since Frank Lampard left and they’ve struggled to find a replacement for him. Tielemans is similar to Lampard due to his goal-scoring abilities. And at the age of 19, Tielemans has all the potential to grow into one of the best midfielders in the world.
Tielemans has scored 18 goals in 45 appearances this season for Anderlecht.
N’Golo Kante and Nemanja Matic currently partner the Chelsea midfield but neither have a decent long-range shot on them. Manager Antonio Conte is possibly planning on changing to a 3-5-2 formation next season, which allows for a third central midfielder to enter the fray.
Chelsea will keep Fabregas but they could use another midfielder to replace the inconsistent Nemanja Matic. Conte needs a better box to box midfielder and Tielemans would fit perfectly as a third central-midfielder.
The Belgian international made his debut for the senior team at 16-years-old and has been at Anderlecht since he was five.
