Tottenham: Five memorable North London derby matches

Danny Rose and Gareth Bale lead Spurs to victory
This derby will always be remembered for Danny Rose and his amazing goal.
The Spurs full-back was making his Premier League debut and officially announced his arrival in the tenth minute. Rose took an audacious shot from 30 yards out and the ball sailed in to the back of the net. It set the tone for the rest of the match.
Gareth Bale gave the home side a two goal advantage early in the second half.
Nicklas Bendtner got one back for Arsenal in the 85th minute. By then, however, it was too little, too late.
It was Tottenham’s first league victory over Arsenal in 11 years.
The result put a dent in to any hope the Gunners had of winning the title. Arsenal finished the 2007-2008 season four points behind champions Manchester United.
