Aaron Lennon scores an equalizer in stoppage time

This 4-4 draw was a moral victory for Tottenham despite not winning the match.

Former Arsenal player David Bentley gave Spurs the early lead with a beautiful 40-yard volley after 12 minutes.

Defender Mikel Silvestre equalized and sent the match to half-time all even 1-1.

It looked as if the Gunners were in the driver’s seat after 64 minutes following goals from Williams Gallas and Emmanuel Adebayor.

Darren Bent got Spurs back into it with a 67th minute strike. Arsenal hit right back. Robin van Persie scored one minute later and put his side back in front 4-2.

It looked like another Arsenal derby victory as the clock hit 88 minutes. It wasn’t to be.
