4. Charly Musonda

Musonda had a rather uninspiring season on loan at Real Betis. He didn’t appear regularly and he didn’t quite fit in at the Spanish club. Chelsea FC ended up cutting his loan spell short after a mutual agreement and Musonda returned to the Cobham training ground in January this year after only making one start in eight appearances for the La Liga club this season.

The 20-year-old Belgian winger looks an exciting prospect and Chelsea fans would hope that he becomes the next Eden Hazard. However, as fans have seen with other young players ie Gael Kakuta and Scott Sinclair, it is possible he could fizzle out and end up at some lower league club somewhere

Chelsea therefore need to make sure his development is well-managed, and that he goes to club on loan that will actually give start him in every match.

Musonda joined Chelsea in 2012 as a youngster and then signed a senior professional contract in 2013.

The former Anderlecht man is being linked with a loan spell at Celtic with manager Brendan Rodgers said to be keen on the starlet.
