Regardless, the Reds are going to need depth in order to compete in all competitions next year. That depth will have to be up front, in the middle and in the back.

It also means, the checkbook is going to have to be opened for Klopp to make the team he wants.

Now, it’s on to Hong Kong and the Asia Cup in July. It has been confirmed, the Reds will face Leicester City, West Brom and Crystal Palace in their Asian fixtures.

"“We’re really looking forward to playing in the Premier League Asia Trophy this summer,” Klopp told The Daily Mail. “It’s important that the club takes part in competitions like this as it gives local fans the opportunity to get closer to the action.”"
