As Arsenal looks to rebuild, the Gunner scouts are looking at clubs in the tier below for potential diamonds in the rough. (Read: Sub-£50 million price tags.) And Red Bull Leipzing’s Forsberg fits that tag perfectly.

The 25-year-old has been killing it in the Bundesliga this season, racking up assists at a blistering pace, earning the moniker of Europe’s “assist king” in the process.

And if rumors are true, Arsenal could be putting together a £20 million bid for Forsberg services— a bargain compared to the heavier hyped gentlemen mentioned above.

A tremendous buy for Leipzig, the Swede only cost them £3 million, putting the team in position to reap massive profits, even if they were to sell Forsberg for “cheap.”

And if the Gunners do pull the trigger, they’re on pace to cut a deal much like Leipzig did, adding a proficient playmaker who can help smooth out the Arsenal offense.

More importantly—it’s a business, after all—Arsenal could cash in on the back-end as well with a £75 million-plus sale two summers from now.

Now that’s good business. Stan Kroenke would approve.
