Manchester United reject could join Barcelona

As the Neymar transfer saga seems to finally be coming to an end, Barcelona look towards a different Argentinian to help them next season
It finally seems as if Neymar will be on his way out of Barcelona after a fight with a teammate in training. The spew of rumors linking his departure to PSG can finally come to an end as the Brazilian will likely be on his way to Paris in the coming days. This means Barcelona are left with a mass gap in their attack that needs immediate attention.
One player that could fill that position is Manchester United flop and current PSG player Angel Di Maria. The Argentinian plays as a left winger like Neymar, has blistering pace and is a masterful dribbler. His contribution in the attacking half of the field is just what Barcelona needs if they are to replace the gap left by Neymar’s departure.
Being teammates with Messi in the Argentine national team certainly could help this transfer become more of a reality for the club. With goal scoring machine Luis Suarez as striker, the three would continue to prove a problem for any team they faced. There is one big problem facing this transfer, though, that could end any hope of it going through.

Di Maria used to play his football for Barcelona’s long time rivals Real Madrid. He won multiple titles with Los Blancos including a Champions League title and winning La Liga. Joining Messi and company at the Camp Nou would be an immediate stab to the heart of Madrid supporters around the world and could come with a lot of heat.
The transfer as a whole would still make a lot of sense for all parties involved. Neymar would still get to go to PSG and start as their left winger. Di Maria, who would by no means start over the flourishing Brazilian, gets to leave Paris and start as Barcelona’s left winger next year with his Argentine teammate Messi. It may not be the young exuberant signing that Barcelona fans are hoping for, but bringing Di Maria to the team would provide a quick fix to a problem that faces the club, easing a lot of nervous minds surrounding the clubs future.
