Arsenal started the new Premier League season with a an exciting victory over Leicester. Here’s a look at some of the takeaways from the match

Arsenal came away 4-3 winners versus Leicester in the club’s home opener. In typical Arsenal fashion, it was not easy. Despite dominating possession throughout the game, the Foxes pushed the home team to the end.

The Gunners faithful have become accustomed to popping antacids while watching their team. This match played out as many others have in the past. Arsenal took the lead, only to immediately capitulate. From there it was back and forth and the points were eventually secured in comeback style.

There were many positives on display throughout the match. Arsenal’s movement was fluid and fast. However, defensive frailties were also present. At times, the Gunners passing was a bit sloppy as well.
