The 2017/18 English Premier League season is upon us and all twenty teams are fighting and working hard to make sure they achieve their targets come the end of the season.

One of the teams that will be hoping to challenge for the title this season will be Manchester United. The Red Devils started their season with a bang, hammering West Ham United 4-0. New signing Romelu Lukaku scored twice. While Nemanja Matic gave a man of the match performance from the middle of midfield. The win showed that United have got their swagger back and they mean business this season.

It has been 4 years since Sir Alex Ferguson retired as Manchester United manager. United have finished 7th, 4th, 5th and 6th in those seasons. Last season there were plenty of signs of improvement under Jose Mourinho. While the title challenge in the league did not materialise, the Red Devils ended their grueling campaign by winning the UEFA Europa League and the EFL Cup.

United are still in the market for a wide midfielder, with Gareth Bale and Ivan Perisic being heavily linked. And while getting that fourth signing will make them title favorites, here are five reasons why Manchester United can win the Premier League title this season, even with their current squad.
