Tottenham take on a dangerous Chelsea squad on Sunday

It’s fair to say that Premier League schedule makers didn’t do Tottenham any favours with their opening match at Wembley. Mauricio Pochettino’s squad will be hosting a wounded animal in the form of Antonio Conte’s Chelsea squad.

While the Blues suffered an embarrassing defeat to Burnley to open their campaign, Spurs won at Newcastle in fairly comfortable fashion. Pochettino’s squad never really looked in danger of losing their cool despite the tough environment of playing at a newly promoted side.

Of course, winning at Newcastle is a much different challenge than defeating the defending Premier League champions. The fact that Chelsea were stunned in their opener will make them desperate to win three points at Tottenham. Pochettino will have to get his formation, team selection and tactics spot on to make sure Spurs emerge victorious.

The Argentine gaffer may be tempted to trot out the same XI he started at Newcastle, but I’m predicting several changes in his starting XI. Read on to discover how Spurs will line up against the Blues on Sunday.
