Five reasons Arsenal will defeat Stoke

Stoke have not strengthened enough during the summer transfer window
The transfer window is open for another two weeks, but thus far Stoke have lost more quality than they have brought in.
Players that have left the Potters during the summer transfer window include forward Marko Arnautovic, striker Jonathan Walters, midfielder Glen Whelan and defender Phil Bardsley.
One impressive pick up is Chelsea’s Kurt Zouma on a season long loan.

Another new signing took place this week. Ex-Real Madrid forward Jese Rodriguez has joined the Potters on loan from Paris St-Germain. The youngster has a lot of promise, but has yet to play one match for his new club.
Arsenal made noise with the signing of striker Lacazette from Lyon. They also seem to have found a gem in defender Sead Kolašinac who joined the Gunners on a free transfer from Schalke 04.
Arsenal’s offense was ranked fifth overall last season while Stoke came in at number 15.
Despite nagging questions about Arsenal’s defense, the Gunners had the sixth best defensive statistics last season. Stoke came in 12th.
Based on current transfer activity and last season’s stats, Arsenal still hold the edge over Stoke.
