The fear factor is gone when visiting the bet365 Stadium

A trip to Stoke’s home ground used to fill many Arsenal fans with dread. Those days seem to be in the past.

As previously stated, once Pulis parted ways with the Potters, the Stoke curse soon dissipated. It’s as if a magic spell had been lifted.

The fans once known for instilling fear in visitors now seem to be more angry at their own club.

Even the club’s chairman took a swipe at the hostility of his team’s supporters last season.

The mood of the travelling Arsenal fans appears to have changed as well. The doom and gloom have been replaced by confidence and a sense of pity for the Potters faithful.

Perhaps politics can prove to be the Gunners’ ace in the hole.
