Arsenal
Draxler is one of those few players who has been linked with Arsenal incessantly for years. There always seem to be rumors of him, Karim Benzema and others.
The German, who captained his country’s Confederations Cup squad as the World Champions left the older stars home for the summer, would link up with fellow Germans Mesut Ozil, Per Mertesacker and Shkodran Mustafi in London.
Arsene Wenger’s preferred style of play would suit Draxler. One could easily envision him seamlessly contributing to the build up for a goal, from Aaron Ramsey, to Granit Xhaka, to Ozil, to Draxler, back to Ozil who rolls it across to Alexandre Lacazette for a tap in.
Despite those sensical reasons suggesting this transfer would be shrewd for player and club, it shouldn’t happen.
A logjam in Arsenal’s attack means that there aren’t enough guarantees for regular football to go around. And with Arsenal in the Europa League rather than the Champions League, there’ll be small gratifications during the week.

Between Ozil, Sanchez, Lacazette, Olivier Giroud, Danny Welbeck, Alex Iwobi, Theo Walcott and Draxler, just three of the eight could play at a time if Wenger persists with his newfound 3-4-3. Unless they offload some players, or convert Walcott and Iwobi to wing-backs, then there’s too many players vying for time.
