Hugo Lloris-3

I firmly believe that Lloris is one of the best keepers in Europe. With that being said, his performance against Chelsea was simply atrocious. There is zero excuse for him letting Marcos Alonso beat him on the second goal.

It may seem cruel to criticize him so heavily for one failure, but that’s the life of a Premier League keeper. If he stops Alonso’s shot right at him, then we’re likely talking about a draw. He gave up a soft goal and gifted Chelsea three points. It’s a save he simply has to make moving forward.

Son Heung-Min-5

I was genuinely surprised that the Korean attacker didn’t find himself in the starting XI. Instead, Pochettino elected to start a very physical midfield trio which frankly, backfired on the Argentine gaffer.

Son was the earliest of the three substitute’s and he did stretch Chelsea’s defense a bit. Still, he wasn’t able to create a meaningful chance or really put any of Conte’s fullbacks under real pressure. It was an anonymous performance for Son.

Moussa Sissoko-5

Stop me if you’ve heard this before, but Sissoko was completely ineffective during his time on the pitch. Pochettino bought the Frenchman to run at defenders from the midfield, but it’s pretty clear he’s going to go down as a very expensive flop. His lifeless performance yesterday certainly didn’t help him win any fans.

Vincent Janssen-Inc

Speaking of likely flops, Janssen really didn’t get on the pitch with enough time to make a real impact. I’ll give him a pass this week without awarding him a failing grade.
