Tottenham completely dominated Everton

Heading into this weekend’s action, Tottenham fans were desperate to see their squad earn three points at Everton. Mauricio Pochettino’s squad accomplished more than that yesterday. They put on a devastating performance that gives the team something to build on moving forward.

The final score was a modest 3-0 victory for Spurs, but it could have been much worse. In truth, Everton rarely looked as if they were going to trouble Hugo Lloris in the slightest. The Tottenham defense completely suffocated the Everton attack all match long.

The Spurs attack was pretty good too. Harry Kane celebrated the end of August by finding the back of the net on two occasions. He was a bit lucky to find a cross beat Jordan Pickford for his first tally, but his second goal was an excellent finish of a Ben Davies cross. To make a long story short, it was the striker Spurs fans are used to seeing.

As you might expect, the player ratings this week are going to be pretty positive. There really wasn’t much to criticize. Read on to discover which players earned the highest marks though. Some of that data might just surprise you.
