Striker-Fernando Llorente

The tall Spaniard had some good times at Swansea, but he’s ecstatic to be playing for Tottenham now. Pochettino will be very anxious to see what he can do with a start against his old mates.

Expect him to play as the higher of the two strikers in this match. Kane will move all around the pitch while Llorente will occupy Swansea’s central defenders. Watch out for Llorente to put Spurs in the lead with his head early in this match.

Striker-Harry Kane

No one will be more excited to see Llorente in the starting XI than Harry Kane. He’s perfectly capable of leading the line on his own, but he’ll be very intrigued by the idea of playing with another world-class centre forward.

With Llorente playing high up the pitch, Kane will have the freedom to create havoc with late runs in and around the box. For people who believe Kane is best suited to be a number ten, this match will be a beautiful thing.

Keeper-Hugo Lloris

In some ways it would make sense to give Michel Vorm a meaningful start in this match. However, it’s a smarter decision to give him that opportunity against Barnsley. As such, Lloris stays in goal against the Swans.
